Prof. Kui Jiao

Kui Jiao is currently a professor in the State Key Laboratory of Engines at the Tianjin University, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2011 from the University of Waterloo, Canada, in the field of mechanical engineering. He has been working in a wide variety of research fields including low and intermediate temperature fuel cells, hydrogen storage device, lithium ion battery, thermoelectric generator and turbocharger compressor. He has published over 60 international journal papers and several book chapters, with 1000+ citations and an h-index of 20. He has been awarded the “National Natural Science Foundation - Outstanding Youth Foundation” in 2016, and the “New Century Excellent Talents in University” in 2013 by the Chinese government. In 2011, he became the winner of the First Prize of “Dr. Bernard S. Baker Student Award for Fuel Cell Research” (the first award holder outside US), and won the “Outstanding Achievement Award in Graduate Studies” of University of Waterloo (Best Ph.D. Thesis in Faculty of Engineering).
