Her studies are directed to the development of new rapid tests for control of toxic contaminants in food (mainly antibiotics). The situation in the modern society is characterized by increased interest to food quality and safety. It is caused by several factors: better knowledge about risk factors for the health; introduction to practice of new techniques in food production and intensified exchange between different countries and regions in the frame of worldwide food trade network. Due to this, traditional analytical techniques based on high-cost stationary equipment cannot provide sufficient data for manufacturers and customers. Efficient management of modern food chains («from farm to fork») should be based on simple tests for rapid on-site testing and efficient processing of the results data.
