Dr. Prabal Goyal obtained his PhD degree in 2015 from Ecole Polytechnique, Paris. He has extensive research experience in the domain of Silicon Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and renewable energy technologies. He has published 5 papers in leading journals, presented work at international conferences and filed several European patents. He also has the Mechanical Engineering degree from IIT Delhi where he worked on developing low cost Refreshable Braille Displays for visually challenged. He was awarded Arthur L. Williston medal for the project by American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), USA. Currently, he is working with Air Liquide to understand the commercial, regulatory and financial aspects of energy solutions (conventional and non-conventional technologies). He plans to launch a techno-entrepreneurial startup which can accelerate the penetration of commercially viable energy solutions in local communities.
