About:

Dr. Aravind kumar Rengan completed his PhD from IIT Bombay in 2015 and is currently an Assistant Professor at IIT Hyderabad.  He is a medical doctor turned biomedical engineer working in the area of nanomedicine and cancer nanotechnology.  Dr. Aravind has won many awards and accolades including the “Indian National Science Academy (INSA) &  National Academy of Science (NASI) Young Scientist Award- 2017 & 2018 respectively, Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) Young Engineer 2018, “Innovative Young Biotechnologist Award – DBT. Govt of India”, “Gandhian Young Technological Innovator 2017 & 2015”

His current research areas include Cancer Nanomedicine, Biomaterials, Drug Delivery, Theranostics & Anti Microbial Resistance
